Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken off my back porch. I live on top of a hill where there is a small forest at the bottom and the trees make a perfect background in any season.
Time
It was sunset in late July. The colors were getting bolder and brighter as the sun went down and I found my moment when everything was perfect
Lighting
It was sunset
Equipment
Just a camera and an army man
Inspiration
I was walking my dog at the beach and someone had left dozens of army men buried in the sand. Reminiscing about childhood, I gathered most of them up (I had to leave some for the next kid) and thought these would make wonderful props. I've since been using them around the farm with my pets and plants
Editing
Not really
In my camera bag
Everything
Feedback
I'm just trying to find my niche in a creative way. Toys are easy to carry around and not only make great props, but I can give them to kids as rewards for behaving during portraits
