another brilliant landscape with amazing contrast in colour of sky and its reflection and yellow grass. But that huge dark cloud is somehow stealing my attention from the beuties underneth.

Behind The Lens

Location

This the Black Mount from the Rannoch Moor just before you enter into Glencoe Scotland.

Time

It was in the afternoon as I had been up early to catch sunrise down the glen then stopped on my way home as I spotted the loch was calm.

Lighting

Nothing special. The sun was off to my left behind some heavy cloud.

Equipment

I’m pretty sure I was using my Sony A77 and the excellent Sigma 10-20mm lens.

Inspiration

The beauty of this part of the world stops me every time I go through it. It really is a special place.

Editing

It’s been so long ago since I took this picture I honestly don’t remember my processing.

In my camera bag

Now shoot with the Sony A7Riii and currently have a Tamron 70-300 A Sony 16-35 f4 a Sony 85mm 1.8 and a Sony 55mm 1.8

Feedback

In Scotland it pays to be patient. The weather can change so quickly. I do remember being hunkered down it was pretty cold but just waiting on the light to give the reflection on the water.
