Location
This photo was taken near the beach on a natural covered path in Vero Beach, FL.Time
We were on the beach doing shoots around 5 pm and decided to head for some shade to cool off. While there we decided to play with some ideas, resulting in this as one of them.Lighting
Lighting was all natural.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7200 and a 50mm prime lense.Inspiration
I was playing around with some eye portraits and like the mirror portraits. Decided to try something new. The fun part was getting right behind her to have her looking straight into the camera. This part was not edited.Editing
This photo has minimal editing using Adobe CS5. Crop and convert to B&W.In my camera bag
I always carry the Nikon D7200 and 3 lenses and flash, and my converted Canon IR camera.Feedback
Setting camera in manual is always the key. Adjust the settings to have a near dark image, get right behind subject, and adjust mirror and her eyes so that they are looking into the camera.
