Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken in Vietnam somewhere near Nah Trang where the fisherman still use traditional round boats.

Time

I was there with my sister on a evening at a time all the fisherman came back from the sea.

Lighting

It's unbelievable how red the sky was that evening before the sun went down.I must admit that I enhanched the colour red in this picture.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D90 with Tamron 18-265 mm lens. Not a high quality lens but It will have to do for now.

Inspiration

The morning before I took the picture were told that we would see this scene. So I asked a local where the boats would be at night...

Editing

Oh, yes.As I told earlier. I enhanced the colour red. Also made it a little darker and resized the picture. I only have lightroom to develop my Raw files.

In my camera bag

Depending on where I go.When I'm on vacation I normally have a simple lens 18-265 mm tamron and my camera of course. A flash and a tripod. When I travel to a country with lots of flowers ore insects I also take a macro lens 90 mm .

Feedback

First of all keep the camera in your bag and don't just look but see.I really can't give advice how to take a picture.Just think outside the box and try try try..and have fun .
