Poppet Head Dreamtime

A silhouette of a Poppet Head or the symbol of Bendigo and a reminder of its Gold Mining Days of yesteryear. This photo captured in Golden Gully in Springtime 2015, after learning from Jason Lanier a few things, Always shoot in RAW, Always set your White-Balance to Kelvin and Always expose for the brightest light in the scene and not the light of your subject (makes for very dull looking photos in camera). But this leaves more opportunity for editing and creating brilliant colours in Lightroom in Post. 3 Days left to go and we will be back there again - Springtime. After a long and rainy winter, looking quite forward to it, to seeing what Tulips they have planned for the gardens this year, to the roses in early November, but more importantly to the warmer weather and getting around a bit more to take some photos.
