This image was taken in Holmeswood near the village of Ruffed in Lancashire UK in 2015.
Gear
I used a Nikon D3x body with a 60mm Nikon micro lens fitted with a Nikon wireless twin macro speedlight system.
The Technique
One macro light was on the end of the lens positioned to the right, the other resting on the floor positioned just out of shot pointing up and to the left of the subject to achieve a dramatic light effect.
