Founded in 1832, The Gooderham and Worts Distillery became the largest distillery in the world by the late 1860s. After a 2 year restoration between 2001 and 2003, the collection of 47 Victorian era buildings now serve as commercial and residential spaces, entertainment facilities and art galleries. The district was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988.

From an ongoing series of black and white photos exploring the architectural elements of the area.

Original photography from 2012 using a Canon EOS T1i body with a Canon EF 24-105mm f-4L IS USM lens. Reprocessed in 2016 using Silver EFEX Pro as a Lightroom plugin for the Black and White conversion.
