I recently brought a "better Beamer" flash extender to go with the big Tamron .

Every afternoon in the last light we get a lot of Rainbow Lorikeets in our backyard.

Perfect to try out the new toy.

We had a storm approaching which made the birds really stand out and glowing in the flash light.

Unfortunately the focus is on the wing instead of the eye, but I really like the shot anyway.
