Congratulations! Nice capture - and nice retro feel in the image.

Location
This is 'My Giddy Aunt' and I've always loved it. I took it at Crich tramway museum and the ladies featured I later learned are Julie, Viv and Becky at a WW2 event. They were relaxing and enjoying the day and I was delighted to capture this special moment which illustrates their amazing friendship. It was my first time at the Crich, shortly after starting out in digital photography and one that still makes me smile today.Time
It was taken early afternoon.Lighting
It was taken in bright natural light in the height of the summer.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 550d using an 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I was inspired by the personality and interaction of the girls and their period clothing.Editing
I used Photoshop combined with topaz adjust 5 plug-in.In my camera bag
I usually carry my Canon 550D, 18-55mm, 50mm, 55-250mm as 28-135mm lenses and a Canon speedlight just in case. I guess my rather elderly gear by digital standards illustrates my favourite Ansel Adams quote - " The most important part of a camera is the 12 inches behind it! ". I'd love to update my camera one day but for now it serves me very well. You don't have to have the latest gear to take a great photograph.Feedback
For a more natural image at re-enactment events, wait until the subjects stop posing and other photographers move away. Then the magic happens.
