Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the ballet hall.

Time

I used a natural light from the window and the artificial simple lights of the hall.

Lighting

Strong light came through the window, I liked that it burned everything outside. Making a clean and infinite effect. So I decided to use it as backlight and ceiling lights as ambient light.

Equipment

The camera I used was a Canon 60D with Canon 24-105mm 4f lens.

Inspiration

This photo was taken after a Black Swan rehearsal. The idea was to show the beautiful lines of the body with the sensual expression of the character of The Black Swan.

Editing

I took this picture in colors, but then I preferred to turn it into black and white. I think that this way you get more to the idea without distracting the eyes with the colors of the walls and others.

In my camera bag

That day I was walking with the camera in my backpack, I really had not planned to do a photo session. But I always have something that can capture images. It is a passion without which I can not live.

Feedback

Never say that a photograph will not turn out well and that's why you did not press the shutter. First shoot and then decide if it works or not. In the digital age it is easier to erase than to lament. If you see a beautiful light, use what you have at your fingertips. A cell phone, a camera, a tablet. From there you can get an idea that you can then improve.
