Behind The Lens

Location

Taken from near the road to the east of Rudha Buidhe, looking East towards Armisdale Bay.

Time

This was taken in the afternoon, just prior to heading to Corran.

Lighting

All natural lighting - at Easter 2007, a very bright and sunny day.

Equipment

I just used a Samsung "point and click" - it was really about just being there at the right time to cat h the view.

Inspiration

I was undertaking a solo trip around Scotland and had just followed the road South from Glenelg. As I travelled along the road, spectacular views kept appearing. It would have been criminal to have not captured these great memories.

Editing

I didn't edit this at all - it's exactly as the camera captures it.

In my camera bag

Nowadays, I have a Lumix fz1000, along with spare batteries and memory cards. I have a polarising filter but that's it...

Feedback

Explore, don't set targets just follow your instincts when touring - every junction is a choice between different adventures. Don't be afraid to stop and just "be" in the location - and don't be afraid to shoot lots of photos.
