This photo was taken in a small 4 foot deep paddling pool in my backyard.Time
This photo was taken at 2:00pm on a sunny afternoon. There were no trees or buildings to create shade or shadows.Lighting

I was inspired to do a pool shoot to celebrate summer and I wanted create a feel of being at a Miami Beach resort.Editing
All post processing was done with Photoshop with a little help from some Greater Than Gatsby actions.In my camera bag
I’m a Nikon kid so you’ll always find a Nikon body in my bag but I’m always changing out lenses depending on the shoot and the look. But I always have a Sigma ART 50mm on hand.Feedback
If you’re experimenting with your own pool shoot make sure your model is cool getting her hair wet ... believe it not some models don’t want to get wet at a pool shoot.
