Location
In London England from a moving tour boat. I was there with my son who was a trialist with a professional football team.Time
Mid afternoon.Lighting
It was and interesting day. Overcast, yet clear.Equipment
Canon DSLR, Sigma lens.Inspiration
Big Ben is iconic. It is also a beautifully symmetric construct.Editing
Some. Worked with clarity and brightness which served to even out the background and make the subject more clear and present. In my camera bag
2 lenses, a Canon Speedlight, and the camera body. A battery charger.Feedback
This isn't a complex shot although the temptation is to shoot the very beautiful building beneath. I think the attraction of this image, which was initially surprising to me, is in its simplicity. The beauty of the symmetry and the intracacy of the carvings covering the building become more apparent. As I play with techniques I'm finding the best pro's seem to see things simply, with great clarity....and then they execute flawlessly. That's where I continue to learn.
