Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my neighborhood in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, USA.

Time

It was July 2016 between 9:45- 10:00 pm.

Lighting

I think for this particular subject, late in the night is better because it shows the contrast between darkness and light more.

Equipment

It was Canon 70 D 18-35 mm lenses, no tripod, nothing.

Inspiration

It was a fast fishing. It started with an idea about a man and streets' name, but suddenly a bus showed up. It was a surprise because there was not a bus stop. I grabbed the chance and saved the moment. I really am satisfied about the subject.

Editing

A little Photoshop helped for darkness and light, but not too much.

In my camera bag

An extra battery. I'm new in this field. I started photography this summer for the first time at college; therefore, I have only a 35 mm camera with and extra battery, and a bag which I never use.

Feedback

I took that when I started my first photography class in my life about three month ago. There is a proverb that says, "If someone does something; therefore, you can do it. If no one does it, you must do it." It is great to have a story before taking photos, but well come to any opportunities. Also, it is helpful sometimes walking around the street, looking for spots, and imagine about an strange story which maybe happen there. Be open for sparkles. Check all intersections. You will be surprise about what you find.
