Location
This photo was taken at Lake Mcdonald in Glacier National Park in Montana.Time
This photo was taken about an hour after dusk.Lighting
This was my first time including a model in a long exposure style shot. We built a little cave just under the surface of the water in which we put a glow stick to illuminate her face. I also used the lighting coming from a nearby building to give the woods a glowing effect similar to fire.Equipment
I used a canon 40d on a tripod with a kit lens. The light in the water was created with a glow stickInspiration
I had been doing basic landscape photography for a while now and wanted to try something a little different, So this is what I came up with on the fly. There was literally no prior planning or set up for this shot.Editing
Basic post processing. In my camera bag
Now I carry a canon 5d, long lens and a wide angle lens and thats it.Feedback
