Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my friend's house. She was lying on the floor in the living room with my other friend helpin us out with the lighting.

Time

I remember it was quite dark outside so it had to be in the evening.

Lighting

I had my other friend holding her flashlight and pointing the light on the reflecting surface so it wasn't too rough.

Equipment

This was shot with Canon EOS 1200D, lens - 50mm f/2,2

Inspiration

Actually I had an assignment for my photography class to take a high key photo. So I thought that face makes a great object for that kind of photography.

Editing

This kind of photos need some retouching after so I did some magic with highlights and whites as well as I added a bit of colour to the lips because they were too pale. And that's about it!

In my camera bag

I usually carry my camera Nikon D3100 and my two favorite lenses (35mm f/1,8 and 50mm f/1,8). I also have two SD cards and another battery just in case.
