Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken at Costinesti resort, Constanta district/county, in Romania.
Time
This was taken at the end of june, at about 1:00 PM.
Lighting
The sun was pretty strong at that hour but I didn.t have much trouble with that.
Equipment
This was shot on my Olympus PEN EPL-1, with kit lens 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 and an ultra thin MC UV filter attached. A great and funny little camera, with a very good kit lens, even without a hood. Taken hand held, with IS on. No other equipment was used.
Inspiration
This is an well-known shipwreck who belong among others to the famous rich man Aristotelis Sokrates Onassis, turkish by origins. I have seen many photos with this shipwreck from others and I decided to do one of my one, so I paid a ticket for a little trip with a motor boat on the Black Sea to take a few shots. It was pretty difficult to shoot this picture because the motor boat in which I was sitting it was in constant moving and tossing on the waves. In the end I think I was pretty lucky to take this shot from that perfect front angle.
Editing
Yes, I had to. It was shoot in RAW. I straightened a bit the picture because the motor boat wasn.t to steady so the image taken was a bit tilt. I used crop, b&w effect, sharpness, contrast and brightness adjustment, the usual settings for me.
In my camera bag
I always have with me my little Olympus PEN EPL-1 with kit lens. Because his small size and weight is very comfortable to carry, and takes very good pictures too. I like it alot!
Feedback
I think that all you need is a mix of luck, a bit of patience, more determination, and you will succeed in the end.
