Cosmic revolution over Golden Bay... a very frosty morning with rising damp progressively fogging the lens nicely to flare the highlights .
I've not been tickled by star-trail imagery... contrived, often verging on eyestraining... but seeing as I've done the Milky Way in many assorted flavours I thought It'd be interesting to branch out, jump on the bandwagon at least partially.
I'd been thinking of how to image this scene for a while. It faces south, away from any galactic core movement. Yet the celestial pole lines up nicely. I hope to some day get the Southern aurora as a backdrop to this... slim chance.
