My dad and sister each picked a rose bush and planted in front of our house (in Northwest Indiana) . They use to have competitions to see whose rose bush would produce the most and-or most beautiful roses. This went on for years.They moved to Texas 8 months ago but after the snow defrosted the rose bushes came back out in full force even with no one taking care of them. As I visited the house for one of the last times as house is being sold this rose was the last one alive.
