This is a view of some of the jagged cliffs at the outer end of Slea Head on the Dingle peninsula in southwest Ireland. The distant hills are the Blasket Islands. Some say the Dingle Peninsula is the Cape Cod of Ireland… It is a vacation destination and a peninsula, but much more rocky than the Cape. I’d compare it more to to Point Reyes National Seashore in northern California. It really feels like “the edge of the world”… It’s the westernmost point of Europe – the closest to North America.
