On the Grand River in Ionia, Michigan from my kayake with my cell phone.Time
It was a very warm day in Saranac so my husband surprised me with a kayaking trip down the Grand River at 1:00 in the afternoon. This is a trip I have always wanted to take. We floated from Ionia to Saranac. So peaceful, so quiet...Michigan at its finest.Lighting
I was trying to get a shot down the river and show how open the river was. The sky was gorgeous with the white fluffy clouds.Equipment
This amazing photo was taken with my Galaxy S6 Edge cell phone! That's right, I said cell phone!!! I had no idea how amazing this photo was until I looked in my gallery. I almost tipped my kayak over in excitement. I keep my cell phone in a water proof container while I'm kayaking so when I see something beautiful, I have to take it out of the container to capture it.Inspiration
