This young Wedge Tail Eagle is a resident at the Raptor, Birds of Prey Colony on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. It was such a joy and privilege to be able to hold him for awhile as well as a variety of other birds. I was surprised how heavy and solid feeling he actually was and also how tame and friendly, he didn't mind me one bit and permitted me to stroke him and talk to him.
