I go every year to try and capture the rutting season, sometimes you just get lucky and bag a great shotEditing
I just boosted the contract to eliminate some of the mist and converted to mono to add a bit of atmosphere to the shotIn my camera bag
I always take the lot as I never know whats around the corner when out in the forest. My Canon 7DMK2 Sigma 17-50mm, Sigma 150-500mm, Sigma 105mm Macro. Also my Tripod, remote release, ND filter set & most importantly spare battery.Feedback
Get up early and wait, the deer are easily spooked so try and find a good spot and be patient. Some days you can be there for hours and not see a thing.
