Location
I took this photo in Venice, Italy. We walked a little westward from the Piazza San Marco and on a bridge you had this nice view.Time
It was after sunset, end of golden hour/beginning of golden hour. Luckily most of the tourist tours drive back in early evening, so it gets less crowdy during sunset.Lighting
Due to the blue hour it was enough overall light present, so there are still details in the buildings, but dark enough to catch the atmosphere.Equipment
I used my Panasonic DMC-G6 with the 14-140 II Lens and my Tripod.Inspiration
I wanted to shoot a typical venice longexposure with smooth water.Editing
Usual post processing with increasing shadows, adjusting light, remove noise. Additional to that I boosted the colors from the sunset at the end of the corridor. In my camera bag
A lot of different lenses for any situations, ND filters, polarizing filters, gradient gilters, adapters and a system flashFeedback
Think in perspectives and prepare your shot already in your mind. Then just click the shutter :)
