Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the garden of my laboratory at Lucknow.

Time

It was about mid-day. I was surprised by the light and wanted to risk the exposure.

Lighting

This image was shot on point and shoot Nikon P500. As there was a lot of light, I had to set the camera at the fastest speed available on my camera (1/1500 sec).

Equipment

It was just a Nikon P500. I like that camera so much.

Inspiration

I was just wandering in the garden for some cool pics of flowers with bokeh but even at its maximum aperture, I was disappointed. So I composed it from the above.

Editing

Yes. The original image was overexposed so I had to manually lower the exposure.

In my camera bag

During the time this picture was taken I just had the Nikon P500.

Feedback

In order to shoot macro shots of such subjects as flowers just set the camera at the manual focus and set the focus to the closest point possible in your camera. It will allow you to get the maximum magnification. Also look at the patterns found in the nature.
