The photo was taken at my sister's house a couple of days before her wedding.Time

The was all natural light coming in from the windows, this area combines 3 rooms together and all of the rooms have ample windows for great light.Equipment
I was laying on the floor with my Canon 70d and had, I think it was 18 to 135 lens on it. It's been roughly 5 years since he photo was taken so some of the details are fuzzy.Inspiration
This dog was just a few months old, with all of the excitement of the wedding and new people in the house the dog's interest had been piqued and she was very curious. I wanted to capture her quizzical looks.Editing
Originally, there was a child gate behind her between the doorframe, bulldogs need boundaries, so I used photoshop to remove that.In my camera bag
I still use a 70d. Depending what I set out to shoot I'll bring my 14mm 2.8 or 70-200 2.8. I haven't used my 24mm in a while so maybe I'll pick that back up.Feedback
Get on the animals level. Distract it's attention with a noise off to the side for a quick change of attention. Treats work well.
