Behind The Lens
Location
I took this in my friends back yard in Minneapolis, MN.Time
If I remember right, it was around 5:00pmLighting
There was a little overcast of clouds that just seemed to make everything pop in a weird way.Equipment
I used a Nixon D3300 in RAW format with a AF-5 Nikkor 18-70mm lens. It was part of a 6 shot burst in continues mode.Inspiration
My friend has encouraged me to take pictures of her family to learn how to use a camera and experiment with it.Editing
I used the photo editing that came loaded on my laptop. Ifor I remember right darkened the shadows, used a little contrast and that's about it.In my camera bag
I have a D3300 the lens that it came with it, and a 18-70. I also have a Nikon Kool-pix that I use for some black and white quick shotsFeedback
Just have fun and experiment. I like using the continuous/action shot setting when taking pictures of kids playing...one or two out of 20 should turn out. I also believe that the pictures that "work" are a mix of being in the right place at the right time, and pure accident.
