A couple of friends and I ventured off to a UNESCO world heritage site at Hampi, Karnataka, India. Hampi is known for it marvellous ruins that are spread across the town. While the town is not well connected, one can take an over night bus and get dropped off at the junction at 7 in the morning.
We were hoping to first freshen up at some local hotel and then go off and experience the town. Upon arriving, I noticed this old lady trying to sell flowers to the visitors who were visiting the temple nearby. I was captivated by her, her expression, her wrinkled skin, her eyes. Everything about her was so mesmerising.
