I was on a trip to Haripal, a semi rural area in West Bengal, India. There we met some little children and they were dressing up as bride and bridesmaids. This little girl, hardly 4 - 5 years old, got to play the part of the bride. The only make up to signify her role was some white dots on her forehead. Usually a Bengali bride is decked up with such dots of Sandalwood paste.
