Fabulous capture. Strong and powerful dog against such a soft background. Well done.

I love the texture and colour. The expression and the look in the dog's eyes makes you want to get to know him. Amazing shot!

This was an early morning shot taken approx an hour after sunrise on a misty Brisbane glen North Ayrshire Scotland of my Dogue De Bordeaux named Shug. This photo has been received well at camera club level and had two first places which i was delighted about. Natural early morning sun light peering over the hills and through the rolling mist.Equipment
The Camera was my canon 70d , hand held with a 70-200 L2 2.8 lensInspiration
I was inspired to take this photo as the mist rolled in around me and Shug with the early morning sun creating a lovely natural light.Editing
I did basic light room adjustmentsIn my camera bag
I usualy just take my camera and a chosen lens and work with what i have rather than taking along everything i ownFeedback
Pay attention to light and if its cold and you want hot air (breath from the dog) give him or her a run around first. Get them to sit and try photographing at different angles and low down.
