While off-roading by Lake Silverwood, I got up in the mountains not far from the lake and was able to get this view of the lake on a bright and clear day, with people out on their boats, fishing, relaxing, and having some fun. Post edited in MacPhun software, and their Aurora HDR Pro software.

This was taken on the backside of Lake Silverwood. I was going off-roading on White Mountain trail and couldn't help but stop at the breathtaking view that I saw in-front of me.Time
This was taken around 10 in the morning in early December, the sun was just high enough to give good lighting but not to give too deep of shadows, and give me a great reflection on the lake that wasn't blown out.Lighting
Pay attention to the time of day, and the lighting you have, you may need to move around an object to get the right lighting that will accentuate what you are photographing.Equipment
This was taken on a Nikon D810 with a Tamron 28-300 3.5-6.3 lens. This is one of my favorite lenses because of the quality of the image as well as the range of capabilities that the 28-300 gives you before you need to switch to a smaller or bigger lens.Inspiration
I have always loved taking photos, and I grew up on that lake so when I saw it in a new way I couldn't help but realize just how beautiful it can be like I was seeing it for the first time. Ever since I first started really getting into photography I wanted to start seeing things in a new way, both big and small, so I try to never miss the opportunity to see things in new ways whenever I can.Editing
I edited this photo in Skylums Luminar 2017 software and then a little more in their Aurora HDR 2017 software to bring in more details and to give it more of the idea of what I had seen in the moment, and not just what the camera was able to capture.In my camera bag
I always have at least my 28-300 from Tamron wherever I go, but I also cary a Nikon 50 1.8, and a Tamron 90 2.8 Macro because you never know what you may need to be able to shoot. For any sports or outdoor events I bring a Tamron 150-500 5-6.3 so I am always ready to capture any potential moment that comes up. I also use a new tool I bought called a Trii Lens by Frii Design based in Europe. I also carry extra batteries, and memory cards so I never run out of space. I also usually have a strobe depending on what I am shooting. Also always have some sort of flashlight so that you will always be able to have a light just incase, because you never know what could happen.Feedback
Be as observant as possible, it doesn't matter how many times you have been to that place, or gone by that thing, or see that person, there is always a new way to see and observe everything that can bring up a new thought or idea that you want to capture. Also the most important thing is to know your gear, and always have it set in a way that you know what to expect and that is easy to change for the situation, that way if it is something that could disappear in a moment, you are always ready to capture that moment.
