I took this shot in the High Uintahs in the north east corner of utah. There were four moose in the willows this one stepped out for a great shot as he feedingTime
My favorte time to photograph wildlife is in the morning. This was early just as the sun was coming up over the mountainsLighting
When your out doing wildlife photography its hard get the right lighting because the wildlife is out early or late in the day but i just tried to keep the sun to my back as it was coming up and hoped for the bestEquipment
I was using a canon 7d with a Canon 100-400mm lens. This is a good combination for wildlife photographyInspiration
I was head up to a high alpine lake to get some sunrise photos when i came up on four moose. they were not to scared of me being there so i could not resist getting a great shot in of themEditing
I did some cropping and light processing on the photo just to add my touchIn my camera bag
I just carry the one camera (canon 7D) I bring wide angle lens (canon EFS 10-22mm ) that i use for most all my landscape shots. A (canon 50 mm) for taking quick shots well im hiking or moving to one place to another. and a (canon 100-400mm) i use the 100-400 for most of my wildlife shots one of my favorite lens. I also have a cheap tripod i bring along if i bring a good one it will never fail and i will brake itFeedback
I found my best shots come when i photographing things i love my family, wildlife, and landscapes.it seems i have a close connection with then so i take a little more time on the shot. find what you love in life and take as many photograph's as you can and share them with the world
