Location
This photo was taken at Grand Teton In Wyoming. It was our 3rd stop in a bus tour that took us from South Dakota, ,Montana,Wyoming,Idaho and Utah.It was a beautiful fall day in September.Time
If you can believe it, it was taken high noon. I thought it was going to wash out and to boot I forgot my tripod.Lighting
Nature took care of all the lighting. I loved how it made the fall colors pop.Equipment
This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 70D Lens 18-55mm at f5.6, exposure was 1/500 sec. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
We got off the tour bus and started walking towards the mountain in the background. The further we walked the more awe aspiring it was. I just took the scenery in for a few minutes without doing anything. The air was so crisp you could see for miles, and the lake was so pristine. I just loved the reflection off the lake it was perfect.Editing
I used photoshop to sharpen the image give the image some more contrast. In my camera bag
Besides my 18-55mm I also carry my 55-250mm lense. Always have uv filter and neutral density filter.Feedback
It is always location, location, location. Try to know ahead of time where you are going and what to expect. With any landscape photography it takes a great deal of patience.
