Behind The Lens

Location
I took this photo on my visit to Bratislava, while walking in the city. I was drawn to the tunnel by sound – the trams make a very eerie noise in there.
Time
This photo was taken in the evening, after sunset. It was taken handheld, 1/30 s at 1600 ISO.
Lighting
The photo is originally in color, but the color of the lower lights in the tunnel was distracting from the nice striping effect that comes up in the black and white version. (The color version is also in my profile.)
Equipment
I used my Fujifilm X-T1 and the 18-55 XF kit lens.
Inspiration
I was drawn to the tunnel by the sound, but I always like tracks, tunnels and portals. This is a tunnel with very much character!
Editing
I use Lightroom to keep track and raw-convert my photos and Nik's Silver Efex to process this B&W version. I always shoot jpg + raw.
In my camera bag
I travel very light. I have a small Krumpler bag and in it, I have Fujifilm X-T1, the 18-55 kit zoom, the tiny Fuji flash that I almost never use, a lens cloth (that I use a lot) and not much else. If I know I'll need it, I take my light tripod and maybe ND filter, but that has been very rare occasion recently.
Feedback
This is a travel photo, so my advice is: travel! Of course, travelling could mean walking your home town with your eyes open. Other than that, this photo came to life in post processing, by converting it to B&W to bring out the alternating stripes of light in the tunnel ceiling.
