The photo was taken at Pantai Karang (Karang Beach), Sanur , Bali - Indonesia Pantai Karang is one of my favorite spot for landscape. It's near my home, only 15 minutes by motorcycle from my home.Time
This photo was taken on 28 December 2015 at 04 : 00 AM I usually went to this spot whenever i had spare timeLighting
All of my landscape shots, i always use natural light. I always get on this spot early (around 2 ours) before sunrise. I want to observe condition of my spot (weather, clouds, position the sun when it's comes up)Equipment
I'm using sony nex-6 , Tamron 10 - 24 mm (mount canon), manual lens adapter, victory 3080 tripod This shot i'm using f/22 , 1/5", ISO - 100, at 10mm, focus manuallyInspiration
I love nature, landscape. So many beautiful places on earth that's inspired me to capture with my camera. I want to show to others that landscape can be more beautiful when we captured it with camera. That's my personal goalEditing
Yes, i always take a shot in RAW, so i did post processing my photos Lens correction, perspective correction, adjust White Balance, balancing shadow, highlight, contrast, tonal adjust, vibrance and saturation. Many steps on post processing, the main goal is to create as perfect as i wanted to.In my camera bag
Sony Nex-6 , Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 (manual), Samyang 8 mm fish eye (manual), Samyang 35 mm f/1.4 (manual), Samyang 85 mm f/1.4 (manual). I love manual lens, because with manual lens i can create very sharp focus. My eyes control the focus, not the sensor of my camera (personal opinion)Feedback
Some of my advice to capture a landscape photography : 1. "Knowing" your own equipment, to know the limits of our equipment 2. Always come to place "early", so we have time to observe the spot (weather condition, compositing, best place to set up tripod, metering, etc) 3. Always capture in RAW (more flexible in post processing) 4. Capture as many as we can, so we have many reference of the spot 5. Be confident
