I took this photo late summer 2016 after a long period of no rain had drained the reservoir (Outerwards reservoir, North Ayrshire , Scotland) as you can see my Dog (Shug) was delighted to have the water that he loves to chase back in full flow.Time
Around 2pmLighting
Just normal daylight no lighting equipment required or usedEquipment
Canon ef 70-200mm f2.8 l usm lens on a Canon 1dx body.Inspiration
Just my dog enjoys playing at this spot so much that after a nights rain i knew he was going to be super excited to have his water back after being disappointed on previous visits and the reservoir and overflow were dry. I knew it would make a great pic and had already decided to climb down into the overflow to get a good perspective of him chasing the overflowing water before we set out that day.Editing
I done some light work in lightroom and also changed it to B&WIn my camera bag
On this day i had Canon ef 70-200mm f2.8 l usm lens on a Canon 1dx body.Feedback
If you can plan ahead and think of a good spot to take the shot from that helps and even more so if you can use a tripod ...other than thet just get out and go for it :)
