I was intrigued by the diminutive size of this fountain sculpture in a plaza full of full size sculptures and the aging of the materials in juxtaposition to the apparent age of the young child. The body language of this child also gave me a sense of hoping to the point of almost pleading, not just praying, A very powerful but small statue.
