Spring in Yosemite is one of the best times of the year to visit and catch the dogwoods in bloom. Beautiful white flowers dot the landscape everywhere, even so, they can be very difficult to photograph. Once I found a good composition, I experimented with different settings and waited for several hours in order to get the right light to isolate the blossoms from the background. It was very windy, so for each shot, I had to wait for a break in the wind. Patience is a virtue, especially for a photographer!
