We have a family visit us every year never see the female feeding young always father

Just waited for the young to fledged then it was a case to were the young were going to get fed

Location

The photo was taken down at Cley Next to Sea next to the NWT reserve

Time

It was taken at about noon

Lighting

The lighting was just the sun nothing else

Equipment

The camera was a Canon 7D with a 500mm lens on a Gitzo tripod

Inspiration

Was just walking along and saw the young sitting on the fence thought that they may be being feed and just waited to see and along came a parent and feed the young

Editing

Not a lot just sharpen it a little

In my camera bag

Just the Canon 7d and the 500mm lens

Feedback

If you know of any Swallows nesting in the neighbourhood at sometime they will feed the young once they have fledged just keep a eye open and you to could get a shot like this
