This photo was taken at St. Simons Island in Georgia. Its one of our favorite places here. Ive been taking pictures of anything and everything for years. I just love it!Time
We had spent the whole day on the island and we were on the beach at this time. I turned to look behind me and seen this beautiful shot of the sun going down and I had to take it.Lighting
It was all natural lighting as the sun was going down. I loved how the trees and background are black shadows with the light behind them.Equipment
This picture was actually shot with a older Kodak digital camera that I had at the time. It was lucky for me that I didnt need more for this great shot.Inspiration
I have always loved trying to photograph sunsets and sunrises. Its really my favorite time of day so it was just natural for me to take this picture.Editing

I know carry a Nikon D3200 and a tripod. Im working on getting various lens and filters for more great creations.Feedback
The hardest part of a shot like this is the lighting. If you need to move around and find a shot thats not to bright, especially if the sun is involved. You can also wait for the sun to go down some and capture it easier along with the amazing colors. A good background in front of the light always makes it look even better as well.
