Svenergy72, I plan on getting back on a calm day with better sunset and shoot a multi shot panorama with greater detail than this image. I am now going large size on all my landscapes. Getting those fine details to make large prints.

Location
Lake Martin near Breaux Bridge, LouisianaTime
Timing the light long hot still days of a Summer sunset and having the sun on the horizon to create dreamy silhouetted trees refection on a still summer afternoon.Lighting
Sunsets are always a challange but summertime in the hot high humidity of coastal Louisiana are some better lighting opportunities for sunset images.Equipment
Nikon D810, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8g and Really Right Stuff TVC-34L Mk2 Tripod/BH-55 Ball headInspiration
This was an easy choice once I saw the Bald Cypress Trees standing in the waters of Lake Martin. The Spanish moss draping down from the branches with a warm sunset adding to the still water refection made it an easy decision to set up and wait for sunset.Editing
Raw images require PP and my choice is Abode PS and LR CC.In my camera bag
I have three camera bodies and several wide-angle lenses, portrait lenses, telephoto lenses with TC, and landscape filters.Feedback
A lot of research on the web to find locations with potential photo opportunities.
