Great composition.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Wheels Day 2016 in Aldershot, Rushmore Arena, many great looking cars to see, but this stood out for me.

Time

We arrived at the showground around 9am, show cars still arriving . walked around snapping away for an hour or so then this . The colour , the grille and the shape stood out from rest.

Lighting

I wanted to capture the colour and huge grille . I was lucky it was a great day blue sky, sunlight showing off the colour .

Equipment

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 1200d fitted with a Canon 18-55mm lens , without a tripod or flash

Inspiration

Viewbug has been a massive inspiration for me, many great pictures ,which makes myself want to achieve these results. I love looking around cars and the work their owners have put into them. I am very new to photography and have much to learn, so was very pleased with the result of this one.

Editing

only cropped slightly to centre

In my camera bag

Not much of a bag of goodies yet , so the EFS 18-55 Canon , Sigma 70-300 and 100mm f3.5 macro lens are always at hand.

Feedback

Being so new I don't think I am in the position to give advice, for me playing with the angles and position of the subject makes or breaks the image you are trying to capture.
