This image was taken on Fuji chrome transparency film which posed some challenges aside the weather conditions at the time. Being a perfectionist at heart I was never satisfied with the scan of this image until I finally managed to get it right, enjoy ; )

Location
This image was taken at the Southern edge of the Arctic Circle.Time
Early morning light coupled with snow fall created a natural soft box which added rather special tone to this image.Lighting
I could not have asked for a more natural soft lighting as the morning was overcast, coupled with the effect of the snow which acted as a natural umbrella.Equipment
I used a Canon A2E camera and Canon EFL 400 5.6 lens and Fuji chrome film.Inspiration
My love for nature and capturing seldom seen moments , weather conditions ranged from -15 to -20 degreesEditing
Some basic noise reduction as this image was scanned from a E6 transparency. In my camera bag
I am totally digital now and carry around a Canon 6D or 1D mark III along with a 100-400 EFL lens.Feedback
Best advice I can give is be a silent and respectful observer, never take anything for granted. Observe the less obvious signs of zones of behavior for your subject and nature will provide you with it's rewards.
