This photo was taken at one of my favorite lakes in Alberta. Long Lake, AB Canada which is about an hour drive from Edmonton, AB.Time
This lake is situated in a valley so as you can tell with the shadows that I was out on the lake in the evening getting some peace and quiet fishing done. I would say just after 5 pm.Lighting
Time of day gives it away, not much more than that unfortunately.Equipment

I love this shot which I have replicated a few times now, just seeing the fishing pole and the lake with no boat in the picture, gives me the feeling of casting into the whole lake, not just apart of it.Editing
