This shot is absolutely wonderful!
The strength of the horse vs the softness of the model speaks volumes to you creative eye!

Location
The photo was taken about a 30 minute drive out of the town I live in, Townsville, Queensland, Australia. I am a self taught photographer and love scouting out new locations for shoots within easy enough access for myself and or clients.Time
I wanted to use the shadows and light from the afternooon sun through the trees to add to the effects of the photo. The afternoon rays give of a wonderful glow effect and did exactly what I wanted for this particular shoot.Lighting
I wanted to give the effect of a mystery, and have a small story behind it. It started of as just any other shoot. But once we started and placed the model and the horse in the right position with the light coming through the trees it gave of a magical and wonderful persona to the scene.Equipment
I was using my canon 600D with a sigma 18-300mm lensInspiration
We wanted to re create a photo with a little modern twist to it after seeing an image of Lady Godiva. I had access to a wonderful Black friesian stallion whom I could photograph at any time I wanted to. Even though Lady Godivas horse was a grey/white horse I still wanted to use the black friesian because of the beauty they hold. My model was more than happy to go nude to achieve the image.Editing
I processed in Lightroom to enhance some of the shadows and highlights, soften the models skin and change the colour tone.In my camera bag

Scout out places, find that right spot. Make sure you have sufficient amount of light as well as shadows if you are wanting to utilise them.
