Location
This photo was taken in the national parkland of Noosa. I'm an avid adventurer and self taught photographer. I started my photography journey May of this year with a borrowed Canon 100D.Time
After a midnight hike through Noosa national park we rolled out our sleeping bags and prepared for a rather chilly night under the stars. Caution had to be used seeing as we picked a 100 meter cliff edge to camp out on. Around 5am first light struck our location and it was time to find a frame.Lighting
I loved how the trees created the perfect silhouette and focal point to play against the magenta and burnt sunrise orange making it one of my absolute favourite sunrises.Equipment
This was shot with a tripod mounted Canon 70D with a EF-S 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I'm and avid adventurer! My weekends are always different. The camera usually just follows behind and captures great memories for me to look back on. Sometimes I get a good frame and sometimes I don't. It's the nature of the game I guess.Editing
I use Adobe Lightroom. This image was actually a 3 photo panorama patched together with some moderate colour and sharpness editing. In my camera bag
A hike tent and a sleeping bag! You never know where an adventure could take you and safety is paramount in the Australian bush. After that I always have my Canon 70D and kit lens.Feedback
I like to think of many of my photos representing the perfect balance of 'accidental perfect timing'. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. My best advice is to just get out there and have fun!
