I had been out looking for a new perspective of an old part of town. I had looked at a couple different locations but decided on this one as I really wanted to have the woodwards building as the centre piece for the image as it’s the tallest building in the area, but also such an icon. I spent a total of 6 nights in this location looking for the right lighting. On the 6th night my patience paid off and I was rewarded with this amazing scene. I was looking for dramatic skies and ambient light in the streets.

My bag usually has a selection of three cameras. A Fuji GX617 medium format panorama camera, A Bronica SQ-Ai & a Canon 5D Mark III. I also carry a selection of lenses for those cameras. In my bag I have a bunch of other small supporting equipment like filters, light meter, triggers, & a Panorama head for the Canon.Feedback
Get as much camera time as possible, don't stop shooting and be persistent. If you have a hunch that there is a shot in a location don't stop chasing it until you find that shot. People will say no and be negative, but avoid that and keep pushing for your goal!
