The sun is still in it's early stages of rising, this is why the wave is green..Equipment
I used a canon 7d and a canon 50mm f1.8 kept nice and dry in a water housing.Inspiration
There are a lot of wave shots out there. A different angle of a wave makes it look completely different.Editing
I just edited the colours a bit to make it more natural and to make it look like what I saw on the day.In my camera bag
I normally bring a canon 7d, canon 50mm f1.4, canon 55-250mm, a tripod, a water housing and my flippers to keep me afloat!Feedback
If you're looking to capture an image like this, I would suggest getting up super early in the morning. The light is so beautiful and 9/10 there is no one around. Plus, sleeping is over rated anyway.
