Behind The Lens

Location

My husband and I were in Santorini and were walking with our tour group through these little walkways through town, all of a sudden I see this cat in front of the door and quietly snapped his picture hoping he wouldn’t run away. To my surprise he just sat there, must love having his picture taken.

Time

It was the middle of the afternoon when our tour group was walking through town.

Lighting

I wanted to capture not only the cat but the blueness of the door, in contrast to the white surroundings.

Equipment

I just used my Sony which I always use on vacation.

Inspiration

I have always wanted to go to Santorini due to the white and blue mixture of its surroundings, so when I saw the cat at the door I thought it would make for an interesting picture.

Editing

No, I normally do not adjust my pictures.

In my camera bag

As mentioned I just use my Sony for vacations- I should have it with me for everyday but worried I will lose it.

Feedback

Whenever you have a clean background it is always good to capture something in it that will contrast the background and make the picture more interesting and memorable.
