Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on the road in front on my childhood home.

Time

I believe this was taken mid afternoon.

Lighting

The lighting was pretty harsh due to the sun being low in the sky but not quite ready for that golden hour yet.

Equipment

I was using my D7000 handheld for this one.

Inspiration

This was early on for me. I probably only had my camera a little under a year and had taken part in a daily photo for a month challenge. I was working on a different shot while being barefoot and caught my shoes close to the lines. Decided to adjust to point straight down the road.

Editing

I don’t remember exactly what I did post processing on this one but i was doing everything in camera raw at that time. I was big into boosting the blacks and vibrancy at the time.

In my camera bag

It varies but usually the camera, a wide angle lens, and my 50mm. I keep a few filters and a spare battery.

Feedback

Take your shoes off and look both ways!
